Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Home Manager mobile application ("the app") operated by Go Developers ("we", "us", or "our").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Home Manager is a personal expense tracking application that allows users to:
- Record and categorize personal expenses
- Track spending across multiple currencies
- Create shared households to track expenses with other users
- View expense summaries and history
3. User Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's services or servers
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use automated systems to access the app in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
5. Shared Households
- When you create a house, you become its owner and can invite others using a share code.
- All members of a shared house can view expenses added to that house.
- You can only modify or delete expenses that you created.
- House owners can delete the house; shared members can leave at any time.
- You are responsible for sharing house invite codes only with people you trust.
6. User Data
- You retain ownership of all expense data you enter into the app.
- We store your data solely to provide the app's functionality.
- Our handling of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
- You can delete your expenses at any time through the app.
7. Service Availability
- The app is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted availability.
- We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect service.
- We rely on third-party services (Firebase/Google) for backend infrastructure.
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of expense data you enter or financial decisions made based on the app's data.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app (which is zero for the free version).
9. Disclaimer
Home Manager is a personal expense tracking tool and does not provide financial, tax, or accounting advice. The app is not a substitute for professional financial services. You should not rely solely on the app for financial record-keeping or tax purposes.
10. Account Termination
- You may stop using the app and request account deletion at any time.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
